Relocating?

Americans are relocating more often now than any other time in history. Their reasons for moving are varied either by choice or following a job, but wherever they are going their migration across America is made much easier by modern access to quicker transportation, roads, and fuel. One of those sought after relocation destinations in California. And I think it can be safe to say that for whatever other reasons, sun, warm weather, and beautiful landscapes must be high on the list.

If you have moved from one state to another, it is important to note that legal documents may have different requirements in your new state and do not necessarily remain valid from your old state. And it could be difficult to have your estate planning documents honored, such as a Power of Attorney. Most likely if you die in the new state before updating your estate plan, it could be quite a challenge to administer your Will or Trust.

If you've relocated to the Southern California area it would wise to have your estate plan reviewed by one of our professionalLos Angeles Estate Planning Attorneys.
