New Year. New Assets?

Welcome to the year 2012! A brand new year with brand new possibilities. And perhaps some brand new property assets?

If you are one of the fortunate ones that had a stellar 2011 and have acquired a few new toys, like say a new car or two, you might want to start off the new year with a little bit of estate plan updating. Just because the champagne may have stopped pouring doesn't mean that you should stop pouring over your newly acquired assets and current estate plan documents to make sure they are up to 2012 standards. Now is as great a time as any to get these assets organized and properly funded before this year's distractions start kicking into high gear.
