Back To School: Estate Planning

The end of summer is nearing. And it's getting close to that time again when the kids are going back to school. Distressing for them, but a relief for you!

A lot of planning goes into getting them ready for the school days to come. There's new clothes, shoes, and school supplies to be bought and numerous stops to different shops to be made. It's daunting to say the least, but when it's all done, they are off to school well prepared for the foreseeable future. But, how well prepared are they really?

This is a good time to go over your estate litigation while you're organizing the other aspects of your life on an almost daily basis. Don't let that energy dwindle until you've sat down and revisited just exactly how you want your children's welfare to be handled if something should happen to you. Think about who you'd want as the Power of Attorney / Healthcare should you become incapacitated. Or who is best suited to be the Guardian to make sure they will be looked after emotionally, physically and financially.

When it comes to planning your estate for the future of your family there is no excuse for not doing the homework.

Contact a professional estate litigation Attorney to get started on a new plan or to make revisions and update an existing plan.
