Mickey Rooney Elder Abuse Hearings Continue in LA Court

This week in Los Angeles 91-year old Mickey Rooney continued his battle in court with conservatorship proceedings to address the allegations that he fell victim to elder abuse at the hands of Christopher and Christina Aber, his step son and step son's wife.

In March of 2011, Rooney addressed Congress on the issue of elder abuse and how his daily life had become unbearable after Christopher and Christina withheld food and medication from him. Even barring him from leaving his own house. Rooney subsequently obtained a restraining order against the pair and appointed his lawyer to be the conservator of his estate.

An official with the LA Superior Court was unable to provide any additional details on the hearing at this time.
